DESCRIPTION:Radiation Safety Officer School \n\n2026 ONSITE SCHOOL at the Customer’s Facility \n  \nTo be held at your plant\, in your training room and on your schedule. \n40-Hour RSO Course tailored to your industry \nOffered by:  RSO SERVICES\, Inc. \nWhen:   Customer picks the week\, Monday – Friday\, Year 2026\n(weekends are possible but will be billed over-time) \n\nThe 40 hour course is a 5-day\, 8-hour/day school (Mon. – Fri.)    or    a 4-day\, 10-hour/day school (Mon – Thur.)\nClass time is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day (or as requested by the company).\n\nInstructor:       John Hensley \n$16\,900.00 total price for 6 students plus travel time and expenses for USA time zones CST & EST.  Additional students are $1\,200 each.  Other time zones and New York\, South Florida\, and Illinois may have additional expenses.  International location requires a custom quote. \nThe course includes a complete training book and a 40-hour RSO Certificate per student upon completion.  \nCourse Description: \nThis class will introduce you to the regulations and safety aspects of handling fixed nuclear devices. It will help you design your own safety program and answer many safety questions that plant employees have. You will learn basic radiation theory\, how to monitor and measure radiation\, D.O.T. requirements\, operating and emergency procedures\, health effects\, how to apply or renew licenses\, State and NRC regulations and more. This course is approved by the State of Alabama Department of Public Health\, State of Georgia\, Mississippi\, Florida\, Tennessee\, South Carolina\, North Carolina\, Louisiana and other state agencies throughout the country. Many states and highly recommend our class for the industrial experience and knowledge we provide. \nIn addition\, while on-site\, the teacher can provide training on customer’s radiation gauges and review safety procedures. \n \n
